Description

Context and methodology

  • The data was created in the research domain of ion-solid interaction studies
  • The purpose of the dataset is to provide the structured data on which the plots in the publication are based upon.
  • The dataset was created by a self-written code developed and maintained by Alexander Grossek under the supervision of Prof. Christoph Lemell

Technical details

  • The dataset contains two files.
  • The eyield.csv contains in the first row the discription of the ion which was simulated. The second row defines column headers X and Y. X describes the simulated hopping time in atomic units. Y describes the electron yield obtained from the simulations. The electron yield is the total number of electrons extracted from the simulated material layer.
  • The sputtering.csv cotains in the first row the discription of the ion which was simulated. The second row defines column headers X and Y. X describes the simulated hopping time in atomic units. Y describes the amount of removed atoms obtained from the simulations.
