\nOverview
The MetroAT dataset is a newly introduced open-source benchmark dataset designed for research and development in data-driven maintenance of metro pneumatic systems. It comprises 105 variables and approximately 25 million observations collected continuously over a one-year period, capturing the operational behavior of multiple pneumatic system components.

This dataset accompanies the publication “Magnetization reversal mechanism of double-helix nanowires probed by dark-field magneto-optical Kerr effect”.
\nThe dataset contains experimental microscopy images, dark-field magneto-optical Kerr effect (DF-MOKE) measurements, ptychographic X-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD) data, micromagnetic simulation results, and processed data used to generate the figures presented in the publication. The dataset is organized into folders corresponding to the figures in the manuscript.

\nThe file \"fig_DA_spectra.opj\" contains the frequency dependence of the directional anisotropy spectra. Given is the ratio of the transmission and the difference in phase shift in negative and positive magnetic fields on a logarithmic scale as observed experimentally and calculated theoretically. The sample is the magnetic GGG layer sandwiched between two layers of 2D split-ring arrays. The data were obtained in external magnetic fields of of B = 1.7, 2.5, and 2.7 T, respectively. The theoretical curves represent the Lorenztian fits to the data using Fresnel transmission expression for the plane-parallel sample sandwiched between two 2D layers.

Abstract: The controllable nonreciprocal propagation of light is an intensively investigated field of optics, with studies motivated both by fundamental questions and possible telecommunication applications. So far, polarizationindependent, switchable one-way transparency has been demonstrated only at certain resonances of multiferroic
crystals at cryogenic temperatures and in high magnetic fields, limiting the practical implementation of this effect. Here, as an alternative approach, we present the one-way transparency of an artificial layered structure consisting of split-ring metamaterial and magnetic substrate layers interacting in the dynamic regime. As evident from our quasioptical experiments in the GHz frequency range, this unique combination breaks time and space inversion symmetries in external magnetic field. The ease of tuning the dynamic response and the possibility of controllable one-way transparency make this approach promising for real-world applications.

\nThis dataset was created in the context of computational engineering shape optimization. The publication investigates a neural implicit geometry representation framework for gradient-based shape optimization. In this framework, geometries are represented by a neural signed distance function (SDF), whose zero-level set defines the geometry boundary. The neural decoder is controlled by a spatially continuous latent field, which provides local geometric control while keeping the representation differentiable.
\nThe dataset serves two main purposes. First, it provides the primitive-shape SDF training data used to train the neural decoder. These data are used to teach the decoder local surface behavior rather than the global shape of a specific object. Second, it provides the numerical results supporting the reconstruction and optimization studies presented in the publication, including network training histories, reconstruction-error studies, drag-minimization histories, a comparison with free-form deformation (FFD), and an example involving topological changes.
\nThe training data were generated from randomly created primitive-shape scenes consisting of simple objects such as cubes, spheres, and cylinders. For each scene, points were sampled in a normalized three-dimensional domain and additionally near the geometry surfaces. The signed distance value was evaluated analytically for each sample point. The resulting samples were used to train a neural decoder that maps transformed spatial coordinates and interpolated latent vectors to signed distance values.
\nThe numerical optimization results correspond to three-dimensional drag-minimization problems. The proposed neural SDF-based geometry representation is evaluated on different benchmark cases, compared with classical FFD, and used in an experiment demonstrating that the implicit representation can realize topological changes during optimization.

x, y, z, sdfwhere x, y, and z are spatial coordinates and sdf is the signed distance value. Negative values correspond to points inside the geometry and positive values to points outside.

Abstract: Crystal field (CF) excitations in the ground multiplet 3H6 of Tm3+ ions were investigated using terahertz transmission spectra of magnetoelectric (ME) TmAl3(BO3 )4 and Tm0.05Yb0.1Y0.85Al3(BO3 )4. These excitations were identified as mainly magnetic dipole transitions from the ground singlet A1 to the next excited doublet
E, split by the CF of the D3 symmetry. The fine structure of the modes was resolved at low temperatures. It manifested differently in lightly doped and in pure Tm borates, consistent with different distortions of the local CF with D3 symmetry. Strong natural optical activity was observed near the CF transitions resulting in
a polarization plane rotation up to 25°. The optical activity is quantitatively described by contributions from magnetic and electric dipole transitions to dynamic ME susceptibility and considering the classification of local distortions.
This repository contains long-term monitoring data from the energy geostructure (EG) installation at the Lainzer Tunnel section LT24 in Vienna, Austria. The dataset accompanies the publication Brunner et al. (2026) and is intended to support reproducibility of the presented results as well as to serve as a foundation for future research on energy geostructures and long-term geothermal system behavior.
\nThe dataset comprises the measurements discussed in Brunner et al. (2026), including system-wide energy performance parameters from the service room (temperatures, flow rates, thermal energy), detailed temperature measurements within multiple energy piles, air, and ground and groundwater temperature monitoring. Measurements span three distinct phases: construction (2001–2004), active geothermal operation (2004–2022), and an ongoing idle phase (since 2022).
\nThe dataset is provided as comma-separated value (CSV) files encoded in UTF-8. Each file corresponds to a specific measurement type or sensor group, following the standardized sensor naming scheme described in the accompanying publication Brunner et al. (2026). File names follow the convention \"Location_Measurement_Version\", where \"Location\" identifies the measurement location (e.g., Pile, Ground, Serviceroom), \"Measurement\" describes the measured quantity and may consist of one or two entries separated by an underscore (e.g., Temperature_groundside, Performance_energy), and \"Version\" indicates the processing status where applicable (i.e., valid, final).
\nSome sensors required corrections due to drift, noise, or damage over the long monitoring period. Where applicable, files labeled \"valid\" contain only data that required no corrections, while files labeled \"final\" contain the fully processed dataset, where corrected values replace the raw data at points requiring correction.
\nEach file uses a semicolon as delimiter and follows a standardized structure: the first column contains the timestamp in ISO 8601 format (yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss), while subsequent columns represent the individual sensor indicators (e.g., Tgw_{KB-13/01}). All numeric values are rounded to two decimal places. Missing values are represented by Not a Number (NaN). The data contain the original measurements without retiming as originally recorded.
\nThe sensor To_{Mariabrunn} (Air_Temperature_outside_Mariabrunn.csv) contains daily mean outside air temperature data for the relevant time period sourced from Geosphere Austria (https://doi.org/10.60669/gs6w-jd70), where data at shorter intervals down to 10 minutes are also available. All other data originate from TU Wien.

This repository contains the anonymised survey data and R analysis scripts for the Master's thesis \"Assessment of road markings at crossing facilities for cyclists and pedestrians regarding right-of-way comprehension and safety perception at non-signalised junctions in Austria\" (TU Wien, 2026).
\nThe dataset was created as part of a Master's thesis in civil engineering at TU Wien, Research Unit of Transport Planning and Traffic Engineering. The data is based on a survey that examined how road users (cyclists, pedestrians, and car drivers) understand right-of-way rules and perceive safety at non-signalised junctions in Austria depending on the type of road markings present. Respondents were shown 3D visualised images of crossing scenarios from the perspective of a car driver, a cyclist or a pedestrian and asked whether they had right of way and how safe they felt. The survey was conducted online and distributed in Austria. For further details on the survey structure, please refer to the master thesis (see related works).
\nThe repository contains three versions of the anonymised dataset (RDS, SAV/SPSS, CSV) and a set of R scripts for the full analysis pipeline. The R scripts require R ≥ 4.3 and the packages listed in the README. Moreover, the README contains any relevant info to run the code, contact infos, citation and licence details. The main entry point is main.R, which sources all analysis scripts in order. Output figures are written to output/figures/ and tables to output/tables/. A bilingual codebook (German and English; input/bilingual_codebook.csv) documents all variable names and factor levels and aids as translation aid for the German questionnaire into English. The CSV format strips SPSS metadata; the bilingual-codebook should be consulted when using it.

Supplemental dataset for the paper “A Two-Stage Constraint Programming Approach for Artificial Teeth Scheduling”, accepted for publication at the 32nd International Conference on Principles and Practice of Constraint Programming. \nThe dataset contains the complete implementation and experimental material used for the two-stage constraint programming approach presented in the paper. The main entry point is the 2stage_solver.py script, which orchestrates the full workflow across both optimization stages.
The stage1/ directory contains all resources required for the first stage of the approach, including scripts, benchmark instances, MiniZinc models (.mzn files), and the column generation solver implementation. The stage2/ directory contains the corresponding scripts, benchmark instances, and MiniZinc models for the second stage of the scheduling process.
Experimental outcomes discussed in the publication are summarized in the results/ directory. Detailed information regarding solver settings, software versions, hardware configuration, and parameterization is documented in the paper itself.
Configuration templates for reproducing experiments and running customized executions are provided in the configs/ directory.
Reproducing the experiments and running the provided solvers requires the following software environment:

This poster demonstrates the high-fidelity digital transformation of traditional sculptures using HandySCAN 3D scanning technology. Optical reference markers were applied to a physical statue to enable accurate dynamic referencing and capture sub-millimeter surface details. The acquired point cloud was processed into a high-resolution 3D mesh and further optimized for downstream manufacturing applications. Two complementary routes were demonstrated: an industrial casting path using the scanned model as a basis for mold preparation and metal casting, and a prototyping path involving slicing, support generation, and FDM 3D printing at reduced scale. The study highlights how reverse engineering and additive manufacturing can bridge classical craftsmanship with modern digital documentation, replication, and sustainable production workflows.

This record contains a SQLite database driven emission model for modelling PFAS emissions into surface waters of the upper Danube basin, and a collection of flowcharts in PDF (and PDF/A) format demonstrating the model setup processes.
\nThe model system MoRE (Modeling of Regionalized Emissions) was initially developed by the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in cooperation with the German Federal Environment Agency. It is based on the MONERIS model system. MoRE was developed as a tool in an open source environment for modelling substance emissions into surface waters for a wide range of substances with relevance for water quality (Fuchs et al. 2017).
\nIn the EU Project \"PROMISCES\", MoRE model was adapted for modelling of PFAS at the Upper Danube Basin. A version in align with the project's Guidance Document has been published before (v.1.0): https://doi.org/10.48436/wg9dy-r9r31
\nThe model released here is an updated version with serves on the purpose for publication. Compared to the previous model, datasets for substance-specific input data have been largely updated, as well as datasets for validation, therefore resulting in different results.
\nThe modelling in MoRE is carried out as a regionalized pathway analysis. The substance emissions are modelled with temporal and spatial differentiation via various emission pathways, as indicated in the EU Guidance Document No 28 (EC 2012) for tier 3 for establishing an inventory of emissions. The temporal resolution of the model are annual time steps and the spatial resolution is 526 sub-catchments with a median size of 229 km².
\nIn the version published here, the model was adapted for modelling of PFAS at the Upper Danube Basin with additional emission pathways were implemented, which might be significant for PFAS and other pathways with less significance for this substance group were simplified and grouped together. \nDue to the flexible structure of MoRE, new substances and emission pathways can be integrated at any time, provided that the necessary input data are available and modelling can be carried out in a reasonable way. In addition, MoRE offers the possibility to modify existing calculation approaches and to test different input data sets by comparing them. For this purpose, different variants can be created. In the version here three model variants for the current state were implemented to represent the uncertainty in the model input data:

\nThe MoRE model system is based on an open source PostgreSQL or SQLite database, a generic calculation engine and the MoRE Developer user interface, which can be used to read, modify and extend the contents of the database. All computations are performed by the calculation engine, which is controlled via the user interface. The modelling results can be exported as tables via the MoRE Developer user interface and the results can be used in GIS for mapping. Users can work with MoRE in two different ways: on the basis of a multi-user access in a PostgreSQL database via the Internet or as a stand-alone application on the PC.
\nHere the SQLite based version is provided as an executable in a zip file. After extraction from the zip file the executable (.exe file) can be started on a Windows operating system (Windows 10 and 11 tested).

\nThis dataset was developed within the field of Additive Manufacturing (AM), specifically focusing on Multi-Material Stereo Lithography (MMSL). It investigates the mechanical behavior of heterogeneous cellular structures fabricated using a modified MMSL platform. The dataset provides the experimental base for how different topologies and material distributions influence mechanical properties. The dataset was created through the following workflow:
\nThis dataset contains the supplementary material as described in the diploma thesis: Parameter analysis on tramway networks with OpenStreetMap.
\nSome of the raw data is not included, since this data can be easily redownloaded from OSM. The timetable data is not included to avoid any legal difficulties concerning different licences. However the sources are documented in the thesis, so a redownload should be possible.

Each folder is an excerpt of the working directory used to calculate the desired information. Some of the folders may be empty, since the Information used in the thesis is contained in building_data.json. These empty directories were used to store information, which can be downloaded from the sources provided in the thesis.

\nThis file is the starting point for the analysis. The code tries to read the file and attempts to gain and process the needed data for each city. Some of the fields can be populated using the functions in code/diplomarbeit/utils.py.

3D pointclouds and orthophotos derived from historical aerial images are important sources for quantifying landscape changes used by various resaerchers (e.g. Glaciologists, Geomorphologists, Hydrologists, Botanists). Within the SEHAG project, funded by fhe FWF, we derived several historical snapshots for selected study areas in Austria and Italy. This dataset contains a pointcloud (1_Pointcloud), digital surface model (2_DSM) and orthophoto (3_OP) of the Kaunertal (Austria) derived from historical nadir images from 1970 and 1971 (originial image data (c) 1970/71 BEV and Land Tirol). The photogrammetric processing (i.e. orientation, 3D reconstruction) was done in Match-AT. All raster products (e.g. OP, DSM) were derived using OPALS. The OP has a resolution of 0.5m x 0.5m and the DSM a resolution of 2.5m x 2.5m.

3D pointclouds and orthophotos derived from historical aerial images are important sources for quantifying landscape changes used by various resaerchers (e.g. Glaciologists, Geomorphologists, Hydrologists, Botanists). Within the SEHAG project, funded by fhe FWF, we derived several historical snapshots for selected study areas in Austria and Italy. This dataset contains a pointcloud (1_Pointcloud), digital surface model (2_DSM) and orthophoto (3_OP) of the Kaunertal (Austria) derived from historical nadir images from 1953 (originial image data (c) 1953 BEV and Land Tirol). The photogrammetric processing (i.e. orientation, 3D reconstruction) was done in Match-AT. All raster products (e.g. OP, DSM) were derived using OPALS. The OP has a resolution of 0.5m x 0.5m and the DSM a resolution of 2.5m x 2.5m.
